Cycle-Aid is the dedicated support service for cyclists.
We manage and run the Cyclists’ National Helpline.
Since early 2006 we have seen a significant diversification in our activities as the core help line and legal claims expertise has been incorporated into travel plans as a means of assisting participants overcome their apprehensions and by boosting their confidence.
We`are able to assist employers with their travel plans in terms of risk management, insurance and through the provision of practical and safety gear and our bespoke Care booklet. We bring a depth of experience to all aspects of workplace travel planning.
As a direct consequence of over twenty years involvement with cycling issues and accidents we are ideally placed to advise on risk management. The originator of the Cycle Aid project, Paul Darlington, has been trained in accident investigation and reconstruction in courses organised and run by the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators and is also a trained cycle instructor under the new Bikeability scheme.
We avidly support the Cycling Demonstration Town initiative and have exhibited and assisted in four of the designated conurbations.
Please utilise the buttons across the top of the page to gain an insight into our travel plan expertise or contact Paul or Shelley at Cycle-Aid (Assist) Ltd on 01772 254489 or through info@cycle-aid.co.uk
Or visit us at the national 2007 Cycle exhibition in Earls Court, between 12th and 14th October.
We will be exhibiting our latest practical kit for use by employers in rejuvenating or launching their cycling travel plans. Innovations this year include our isotronic drink, CycleAde (what else?) and a high-energy food, the Cycle-Aid mint handy-bar.
